Note: This repro was made for Licca's 25th Anniversary in 1992. There were several replica Liccas made for this wonderful series. They basically look like the original 1st generation Licca from the 60's, unlike Licca Club 67 repros that have lots of unique and new hairstyles (AND colors!).

The 25th Anniversary dolls either had their brown hair tied up into a stylish bun like this specimen here or they wore it down (typical Licca 60's hairstyle). They wore different outfits like a silver sequined suit, white dress with red dots, red and white dress with gold trim, etc., all in 60's fashion style. The quality of the outfits isn't the best out there and they're merely reproductions of the originals from decades past. I recommend this series for the dolls themselves but not their clothes. ^^; I've redressed my doll for the pics above but there's a picture of her still in her box if you want to see the default outfit.

Compared to the Licca Club 67 repros these dolls aren't so rare but they were still made in limited numbers. Over 10,000 units were made of each style (each outfit). I don't know of the exact numbers. The dolls' serial number is written at the side of the narrow pink box they come in. For instance, this doll is NO 007567.

Rare or no, she has a beautiful and tight hairstyle! ♥ She's very fun to photograph and she's not nearly as pricey as LC67 repros go for on Yahoo!Japan auctions. You can get her for as low as $35.
