Note: It was with much glee that I won this second-hand bob-style Kisara on Yahoo!Japan 5 years after she was made. In Jan '06 I made her mine for a startlingly low price and did not mind at all she was completely nude and out of original box. She came to me in perfect condition. The original Takara Bako Kisara had a black leotard and black shoes and went for 6000 Yen! Takara Bako used to be the name of Takara's official website. In the past Takara (now Takara-Tomy) offered exclusive dolls via their online store several times a year. They could only be obtained by Japanese residents and couldn't be bought anywhere else. If you're not Japanese, a good place to search for a Takara Bako doll is therefore the second-hand market of Yahoo!Japan. Or you can buy it from another collector.
She's definitely not the only Kisara I like and wanted to have. Not only does Licca Castle bring out beautiful, limited Kisaras all the time, she's also available in the playline line of Takara dolls, so it's not that hard to get one. There's a ton of Kisaras to choose from! | back | |
I'm in love with short-haired dolls and have pined after a Kisara of my own for quite a while. Kisara is my fave of numerous friends that Jenny has. I also like Rie/Lie since they share the same headmold.
