Note: A beautiful Licca-chan in a blue ballerina outfit, blue ballerina shoes, blue panties, blue earrings and a blue headpiece (accessory). She even has light baby blue eyeshadow and many off-the-shelf, playline Liccas don't have eyeshadow at all (you'd see it on Castle limiteds or any other more expensive Liccas). She must be one of my fave playline Liccas ever! The lovely ballerina has flat bangs and her curly hair is tied up in a little ponytail on top of her head. She reminds me of my Wilson Tennis Licca, except that the hair is curly and the color isn't quite as golden. While her skin only SEEMS paler than usual, her make-up actually is, and she has soft rosy cheeks. The short outfit makes her legs look even longer! The feathers on the pictures aren't part of the original outfit, I attached them at the back to give her a cute, innocent look of an angel. The Japanese auction said her original price was 3000 Yen ($26). I've seen pictures of her before and wanted to have her soooo much. I've always had a soft spot for dolls with little ponytails or buns. Apart from them being very sweet, I can already picture the dolls dressed up in old-fashioned frilly dresses (not necessarily pink like it's common with Licca but more old-fashioned and Victorian), with lace and that balloon shape of the skirt.
Ballerina Licca is among the gentlest of my Liccas. I imagine behind that sensitive look of hers is a passion for dancing, skating and gymnastics. The more I observe her the more I think she'd look mighty fine as a Limited Takara doll. She does have the look for it! Give her a few more accessories and she could easily pass as a Limited Edition. :) Luckily the price tag isn't $80+ but she doesn't appear a lot on auctions, indeed I've only seen her a couple of times. Must be one of those "Get her while you can" Liccas. | back | |
